Proper player names for cricket coach 2007
I found this great patch to get real names on the Cricket Coach. I hope it helps make the great game Cricket Coach 2007 that little bit more realistic for you!

The CD-Rom boxed version of Cricket Coach 2007 shipped with faked player surnames on the request of the publishing company. With their support we show you here how to download an updated database with real names for use in your game.
Step 1. Download Cricket Coach 2007 Updated Database by Oli Norwell. (This has the real player Names) When prompted click Save and click OK
Instructions for those who are comfortable with computers
Step 2. Find the file cc07db.zip, extract the contents into your database directory (usually c:\Program Files\Cricket Coach 2007\db\2007), overwriting the existing database. Start a new game. You should have proper player names for cricket coach 2007)
Instructions for those who need some help installing this
Step 2. Find where the file you just downloaded off the internet is on your system. Usually it will be on your Windows Desktop.
Step 3. When you have found the file, click once with the left mouse button on it, then click once on top of it with the right mouse button. You will see a list of options, click 'Extract All'. Then proceed through the wizard accepting all the default options.
Step 4. You should see a new folder on your Windows Desktop called 'cc07db'. Double click your left mouse button on this folder. What you should see is the file 'db240782.dbj'.
You need to get this file into the right place so that Cricket Coach will see it.
When installing Cricket Coach you will probably have chosen the default options. In which case the folder the file needs to go into will be:
c:\Program Files\Cricket Coach 2007\db\2007
Step 5. If you double click on the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop.
Step 6. Then double click again on 'C:\'
Step 7. Then again on the folder named 'Program Files'
Step 8. Then again on the folder named 'Cricket Coach 2007'
Step 9. Then again on the folder named 'db'
Step 10. Then finally on the folder named '2007'
Step 11. You should now see a lot of files, most with '.dbj' at the end of them. This is where you need to move the file to.
Step 12. Now without losing the folder you just brought up, go back to where you saw the file 'db240782.dbj' (in the folder cc07db on your Desktop). Right mouse click on the db240782.dbj file. Then select 'Copy'. Then go to the folder called '2007', and right click somewhere in that folder window (but not on a file name), you should see an option called 'Paste'. If you do then you are heading in the right direction.
Step 13. Click 'Paste' and it should ask you if you wish to overwrite the file. Select 'yes'.
Step 14. Now what you need to do is run Cricket Coach 2007, then start a new game. (old saved games won't be affected). You should now have 'real' surnames.
